Sam turns 3

Our little boy is 3! We love having this guy around. He's super helpful (when he wants to be of course) and brings so much joy to our lives. I laugh every day at the little things he says.
He's the best big brother to Tyler and he surprises me with his intelligence. He had such a great day with family. And thanks to those who came to help us celebrate!

Travis and I decided to get pink balloons and a pink shirt since Sam really loves that color right now. We thought the balloons looked more like a gender reveal party than a birthday....

This is how excited he was to get more than one dump truck.

And apparently he's timid around candles...? Not sure what was going on really, but he didn't want to get close to it at all. Ha ha!

Went to the park for ice cream and cake and to test out the new toys.

When we got back we found one of Sam's friends at the door with a present for him. It was so cute!

Love these boys with all my heart. Can't imagine life without them. It's crazy how something so little can have such a huge impact on your life. But they really do, every single day.

Happy Birthday Sam!

Heber Creeper and the rest of May

We started off our month meeting the newest niece on Travis' side of the family. Tyler loves babies so he enjoyed that. Sam talks about her, but still doesn't really seem to care for babies.

We have continued to work on the yard and we're all ready for grass. Hopefully we'll have that and a fence by July.

Until grass comes, the boys are still enjoying the dirty yard. And we spend a lot of time out there, so they get plenty dirty. Thankfully the big dirt pile (shown below) is now gone so it's not a temptation for them to roll around in anymore. I also kept the boys occupied for a short time with painting with water.

Sam and Tyler have their moments of playing well together. Hoping it's a sign of good things to come as Tyler gets older. :)

Tyler thinks he has to put his feet up on the table to inform us he's done eating...

Mother's day was great, and just the same as any Sunday wrangling these kids at church. But it was fun to have dinner with some of my family.

Family photos were great and the reward for us all was Aggie ice cream, which was enjoyed by all.

Mine and Travis' first date was Saturday night session of Stake Conference and ice cream. So now we go get ice cream after each Stake Conference.

Sam likes to read "Dear Zoo" to Tyler and it is the cutest.

We went to visit some grave sights in Salt Lake with my family memorial day weekend. Had to get a photo with all of the Sams.

And we went to the Heber Creeper that same weekend. Mostly because Sam is turning 3 next week, so we didn't want to pay for him too. It was wild west days. Sam mostly just loved the train ride though. Tyler was just there for the food.

They both loved helping me wash the car. So it didn't get way clean.

We also had some friends come up and visit (well really he needed to come up run the Ragnar and his family came with for a tiny vacation but it was still great to see them) and we took family photos while they were in town. :) And got more ice cream of course.

Sam snuck downstairs after his nap one day, and I looked over to see this...

Tyler also learned to walk last month (finally)

This is currently my favorite thing to watch. I laugh every time.
