Sam, and new job and more or Sam

I feel like life has been really busy lately, and at the same time
I feel like nothing has happened.
Big news, Travis accepted a new job here in Logan, he starts in a week so that will
be interesting. I'm excited for him and his new opportunities.

I've had several people book me for some weddings in May
which I am so grateful for--it's been a while since I've had photos to edit.

Really, this little man is just keeping me busy.  He's growing so fast.
Here's a ton of random photos.

He sometimes falls asleep after he's been sitting up in his crib, it looks awfully uncomfortable.

Oh yeah, we had a surprise party for Travis' mom. Tamara and I spent a
couple of hours making this awesome cake.

Oh yes...and Sam learned how to climb the stairs last week. Oh boy.

A Warm February

Sam and I have had a busy month.
Travis went out of town for several days so we headed down south (AKA Salt Lake)
to see family and some friends.  We had an evening with some
other mom's and their babies where we did a mini photo shoot. They were all so cute.

This was also past Sam's bedtime, so I was really surprised he wasn't screaming the whole time.

Of course we had to stop and see Noah while we were down there.  And Jennika ;)

Sam may have had a bit of a fit while we were there.

We got to go visit my mission President and his wife down in Lehi
with a couple of my mission companions. It was such a great time.

Travis got home on a beautifully warm afternoon, so we decided to go on a walk
and take Sam to the park. Sam loved the park!

The slide was by far his favorite. He also enjoyed just sitting and pulling the grass out of the ground.
(And putting it in his mouth of course.)

We also got to play with Lincoln this week. :)

Also, whenever the Doctor Who intro comes on, he is mesmerized.  No matter
what he's doing, he stops and watches it all the way through.

Sam continues to pull himself up on EVERYTHING.
And he rides in the grocery cart without his carrier finally.
(Really, he could've done that one a while ago, we just don't like him to
touch things that sick people may have touched.)
But he really really enjoyed it.  He was looking around the store like he'd never seen anything like it.

Travis thinks this outfit makes him look like a girl. (I did too at first.)
But now I think it's adorable. So is this child.

Happy Valentine's Day!

And here's some more of this kid's laughs due to hiccups to make your day better.

First Haircut

Prepare for photo overload...

Sam got his first haircut tonight.  Travis has been asking me for weeks if we could cut it.
Tonight I let him do it.

Sam did really well. He didn't seem to mind at all actually.
I think it's because we gave him the tube of toothpaste that I generally keep out of reach.

We only trimmed the sides though, I'm not ready for him to not look
like a baby. I already think he looks too much like a little boy instead.

In other news. Samuel loves to clap and is really good at it now.
He also says "dad" all the time.

He now sits in a booster seat when we got out to eat.
And he loves to pull himself up on whatever he can.
Standing/walking is his current favorite position. (That can be exhausting for the adults.)

He loves to eat everything. Especially if we're eating it.

This is his happy face the past week.
I think I get headaches from mimicking it so much.

And here's a few more adorable photos that I've taken.
Love this boy so much!

Funny Hiccups

So, usually when Travis gets the hiccups, they tend to drive me a little insane.
Last night was a different story.
If this happened every time, I don't think I'd mind so much.

Life doesn't get much better than these moments.
It's the little things.
