Sam the one year old

Prepare for an abundance of photos...

Happy Birthday to this sweet boy! One year went by so fast!

And so much changed!

We had a great birthday party for him and we're grateful for all of our family members

who could make it. Sam really is so loved.  

Sam enjoyed his cake and loved the ice cream. 

Before the party started Sam and Travis had some fun in Grandma's swim spa.

These are my favorite people.

Sam loves spending time at the park and is enjoying time in his new wagon. :)

Sam got his first 2 teeth this morning! What a great birthday present.

It's been a great year, and we're excited for the upcoming one with this cute kid!

Just life

Ya know, I've been super busy lately, but the photos I have to show for it don't go on this blog.

I've had tons of photo sessions this month and have been super grateful for the work.

It's great to have a job that I can do while still being able to stay home with Sam.

We had such nice weather during April and took advantage of it by going on plenty of walks.

I got to go down to Riverton and meet my newest niece and take some sweet 

photos of her and her amazing family. It was a good day. :)

My cousin got married this last weekend and Travis and I

were invited to attend the sealing which was so great.

It was good to spend the day with family. (Even if I as working the whole day.)

Sam tried playing with some chalk with his cousins, until

 he started eating it and mom took it away.

It's been more challenging to change diapers lately. Sam likes to try and escape.

So Travis tried this tactic which seemed to work ok.

I love going in to get Sam from his naps. He's usually super happy

and we'll just talk and play around for a bit.

And this is one of my favorite photos.

 I can't believe this little guy is almost one.  He's so much fun

and super smart and definitely keeps us busy.

We wouldn't have it any other way.
