Independence Day

I LOVE Independence day! It's one of those holidays that always brings back great memories of family time, especially with my cousins. Travis added the fireworks in Logan on the 3rd to our tradition. The boys loved them for about 10 minutes, then Tyler was basically not interested. On the 4th Sam sat with Grandpa and fell asleep 10 minutes in. We had a great day with family.

The hot weather was just right for our epic water fight.

Everyday I just feel so blessed to have these boys in my life. They add so much to it.

We love spending time with family!

Had to snag a photo of the Tylers. :) Little blondies.

Love this man.

I gave photographing fireworks a shot. Without a tripod.

Lovin' summertime

Summer has been treating us great, and we've been busy. The boys have enjoyed the sandbox, as have some of the neighbors. :)

We spent a couple nights at summerfest.

Sam took a two week swimming course at the sport's academy. Every day got better. :) He was such a distracted kid at the beginning, but it was fun to see the difference from the first day to the last day.

We have been spending most of our time outdoors. And splash pads are life savers.

Tyler just wanted to eat all during Sam's swim lessons. He wouldn't play in the water unless Sam was around...

We finally got grass!!! We're so thankful for the help that we received from family and friends. It was a great day and it's so so nice to have that all behind us. We said this last time, but we are never putting a yard in again.

Our fence is also almost nearly complete, as well as halfway stained. It's nice to be able to nearly contain the kids. Tyler loves to hang out at the gate.

After the hot day putting grass in we spent the evening at the pool.

This is basically how Tyler eats everything...

This is one of the boy's favorite games right now.

And Tyler just because he's so cute. :) And I'll miss that laugh.
