Week 1 of COVID

COVID Week 1

The Corona Virus has got us home from school, work, handball, pickleball, eating out, friend's houses, even visiting grandparents. Thankfully we've had some warm days to get outside a bit. Just so crazy how life went from one thing, being fairly normal, to extreme caution and isolation from others.

These kids haven't seemed terribly affected thankfully.

We have church at home now.
We watch a lot of movies and Bluey on Disney plus.
We watched Frozen 2 about 5 times the first week.
School work was sent home by teachers, so we do some of that every day, but Sam's not a huge fan. And i have no idea how to teach him how to do Math.

Love this girl's hair!!

The boys enjoy a few photos now and then, on their terms. ;) Love their personalities.

Roasting mallows over the stove.

We went rock hunting, for the Aggie Rock, a couple of times. If you find it you get $500. No luck yet, but totally enjoying the time outside.
Not loving this phase of the world, but thankful I get to hang out with these people I love.

The Warmth at the End of the Winter

Warmth at the End of the Winter

It basically felt like summer this weekend, or at least that's what all the kids thought, running around in their short sleeve shirts. We had a whole group in the backyard. So so so excited for summer this year!

We had family photos and then the annual murder mystery party with Travis' family.

Travis & I finally got to go see Dear Evan Hansen down in Salt Lake. We loved it, and it was so great to spend a day with just the two of us. Grateful for parents who are willing to spend time with their grandkids. :)

The boys like to climb in bed with me most mornings, after Travis has left for work, and watch their tablets. We also spent an afternoon at the Kohler's house watching Frozen II. Amelia was quite excited.

Tyler Turns 4

Tyler is 4!

My little boy is 4!! We had a little party for him, he invited a few friends from the neighborhood, 3 sets of siblings. :) He was so excited to have them over. He chose a PJ Mask cake, a Spiderman pinata and a Minecraft balloon. Several of his current favorites of course.

Tyler is just cute. He's got a cute little face, with a cute grin, he's even cute when he's sad.
I think we've mostly overcome the threenager stage, at least we have less tantrums than we were having. ;) He loves hanging out with his big brother, and his friends. He still adores his little sister and can be such a huge help. He's a great singer. He's LOUD. He totally wears his heart on his sleeve--if he's feeling something, you know it. But, he will let you snuggle him, and even sometimes insists that you do so. 💓 His face is so expressive, and his eyes get SO big when he's excited about something. He's a big goof ball, especially when taking photos.  We're so glad he's ours, he adds so much to our lives.
Happy Birthday Tyler!!

These two brothers!! Love them!

We had a fun Valentine's Day. Sam had "Valentine's Tea" at school.

Travis and I went on a date with the game night crew. Dancing and dinner. It was a lot of fun.

When it's warmer out I sometimes take the younger kids on a bike ride before picking Sam up from school. Tyler took a good little nap.

And another cake for my dad's birthday. :)

Winter, Snow and Cold

January lasted forever, but we managed to have some fun. Took the kids sledding for the first time ever and they had such a great time. Even Amelia loved going down. It was the perfect warm day.

We witnessed Amelia eating a donut without hands. She's cute and funny.

Celebrated my birthday, had fun making a cake.

The boys showing off their muscles. :)
Travis and the Pulse team had a good meeting after a conference in Salt Lake.
