Bowling and Yoga

Date night last week was bowling. As well as a few games at the arcade.
I slaughtered Travis in our one game of bowling...

I always knew Travis was good with kids.
I did not discover his yoga ability til last week at family dinner
when he decided to join the nieces in their kids yoga.
:)

In other news, I quit my job today! Yay!
Now I've just got to make it through the semester--and then the real work will begin in June
when I get to take care of another human being... oh boy.

Florida

Travis' work travel apparently has it's perks.
Although he is still gone on his two week trip, he had
enough sky miles to fly me out to Florida for the weekend!
Our hotel is right on the beach. So pretty. So warm.

On Saturday we went to Downtown Disney in Orlando.  We really couldn't do much
else considering that pregnant people aren't allowed on most rides.
But it was fun to walk around the shops.
Speaking of rides and pregnant people--there was this huge hot air
balloon in Downtown Disney that takes you 400 feet up and  it's tethered to the ground,
I thought for sure I'd be able to go on it.
But no.
So we took pictures instead.

Here we are enjoying it from the ground.

They had an awesome lego shop.
Tons of little boys there.

They really have some amazing things. I was quite impressed.

And of course there is the princess shop where all of the little girls were. :)

Travis insisted that we ride the carousel.  That was fun.
I don't know how many years it had been since I'd ridden one of those.

One of the highlights was going to dinner and a show--
the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review.
(It's Disney, alright?)
It was so much fun, just a little cast with fun songs, audience involvement
and all you can eat food.
The strawberry shortcake was absolutely divine!

It was a cute place, western themed, even got our drinks in mason jars.

My friend Beth spent her high school years in Melbourne, where we were staying,
and she told us we had to eat at Da Kine Diego's Insane Burritos.
So we did, and it was great indeed. Fun to eat at some local places.

Of course we got to spend some time on the beach!

Sunday was fabulous, 80 degrees and sunny...

And of course it was great to spend the weekend with this stud.
Wish I could've stayed the rest of the week.

Also, a side note.  I was a little nervous about flying out by myself,
with a layover in Atlanta.  I've only flown once by myself.
Well, everything went so smoothly and by the time I got back to Salt Lake
I felt much more comfortable....apparently too comfortable.
I got out to my car and realized that I had left my laptop on the airplane.
I was in a panic!
Thankfully they had it at the gate I'd flown into. I just had to waste another hour
to go back through security and get it.
So thankful it was there though! Plus, I still made it to Logan for my 7:30 pm class.
Miracles happen.
