4 months for Tyler

This is a couple days late, but we have a 4 month old baby in the house now!
I'm loving this stage, more interactions, smiles, laughs, babbling, so cute.
Tyler loves to roll to his stomach, but has had a hard time getting back to his back,
which can be real annoying when you're hoping he's going to fall asleep on his own in the crib.
He's growing so fast, it's amazing to me how much quicker they grow when you have
a toddler running around as well. :)

We had family photos last month with Travis' family, here's a couple favorites.

This photo was taken yesterday, Father's day. Travis really is the greatest dad, these boys are so blessed to have him.

Some mornings we just like to lay in bed for a bit.

A couple weeks ago we walked to the temple in the blazing heat.
Sam loved the fountain though.

Travis has also decided that we need to walk to every ice cream place that we can
while we still live close by. (I'm certainly not going to argue with that one.)
Sam is pretty happy with the idea as well. Poor Tyler gets left out and just
has to sit in the stroller though.

Oh yeah! I got to measure Sam again on our big ruler. Crazy how fast they grow.

Sam turns 2

2 years has gone by so fast! I can't believe how much this kid has grown.
I was so excited for his birthday, I had a hard time falling asleep the night before. :)
Travis went in to work late so he could be home for breakfast and we let Sam open
a couple of presents in the morning. He was so excited and was finally
beginning to grasp what the day meant.

We had to go to the park of course. Sam loves being outside so there was no way
I was keeping him cooped up inside on his day. :)
Also, I asked Sam what shirt he wanted to wear, and of course he said
his ninja turtle shirt. Good thing I made sure it was clean.

We had some family members over for a small party in the evening.
Sam is certainly loved.

We got him this little bike, and of course he is basically terrified of it so he hasn't
ridden it yet. But hopefully he gets the hang of it before summer ends.

We're so excited for some water toys! The water table was a hit that night.

After everyone left, Sam kept singing the happy birthday song. Ha ha!

And this is the moment he'd been waiting for all afternoon...Cake.

Happy birthday Sam! We love celebrating you!
