Easter weekend

We're loving any warm weather we get to spend outside, at parks, picnicking or just playing with the neighbors. Tyler is a fearless climber, and likes to try everything his brother does. Sam learned how to climb the ladder all by himself.

My dad came up and was a great help at getting most of the sprinkler pipes laid.
After they were done Travis decided to take the boys and I on a sporadic ice cream trip.
The boys loved it. Tyler's first ice cream cone.

Easter weekend was spent with family. Saturday we went to my parent's, dyed eggs, hunted for more eggs and enjoyed the nice weather outside. Sam really got into finding eggs this year. It was so cute to see him so excited. Tyler was rather uninterested.

Easter Sunday we went to Travis' mom's for dinner. Sam got another easter egg hunt, all to himself. :)

Baby Animal Days

I'd never been to baby animal days before. I'd always heard about it. People had good things to say and everyone's posts on social media always looked so fun and cute.
My good friend from college, Robyn, asked me if I wanted to go with her and her two kids.
We had a great time and it was so fun to see her...
However, baby animal days was so so crowded. And I did a terrible  job at looking at the map, so we went in the "wrong" way (meaning the ducklings were on the opposite end)
so we didn't make it to the ducklings.
We did get to see the bunnies and cute baby turtles and go on a wagon ride and
see some other little farm animals. Tyler absolutely loved seeing and petting them.
Sam mostly just hated standing in line. We even waited in one for at least 10 minutes and right when we got to the front of the line he decided to walk away. Thank goodness my mom
was there so Tyler still got to enjoy the animals.

Sam did enjoy the bunny until it tried to get away from us and Sam got scratched.

Sam really wanted to go on the train ride. It was a super long line. One hour long to be exact. At the end of the line you can see the train drive by, and Sam cried every time it left us. But he enjoyed the 2 minute train ride in the end. :)

In other news, yard work has begun! We're so thankful for Colton and his truck.
Don't know where we'd be without them. They got a great start on the raised gardens
and dug trenches for the sprinklers.

Murder mysteries & conference weekend

Just some more photos of these cute boys. :)

We biked to first dam last week so the boys could watch the ducks. Tyler was so excited about it.

Living in a new development means there's often tractors/work vehicles around.
The boys love watching the tractors.

We had a great time with some friends at our 1920's murder mystery party.

Conference weekend was great! We took Tyler to Herm's for breakfast and then headed to Grandma's to pick up Sam where he had spent the night.

Sam gained a lot of confidence in the water last weekend. He was
swimming around the place all by himself.

Grandma plays a little game with the kids while they're in the pool.
She feeds them "fishy food." And they all love it. Saturday's food was ice cream.
And Sam loved having his cousin Chaylie around to play with.

Sunday we chilled around the house while watching conference.

I am still in love with our view...
