Hockey Stinks

It's 9:30 at night.
Travis is out of town.
I'm bored and don't feel like doing anymore homework, especially
since I don't have to go to school on Thursday, so I decided to post a few
more photos.
Sorry if I'm wasting your time. :)

My brother, Andrew, is finishing up a degree at Weber in...Exercise science or something.
Anyway, he gets to be one of the people that runs out on the field/rink/ect. if
an athlete gets hurt to help them feel better.
He was working with the hockey team this past month, and when
Weber came up to Logan to play, Travis and I decided to join him...even though
I'd never been to a hockey game in my life and really had no interest. That's
how much I love my brother.

It was fun.  But it also smelled AWFUL!
I was breathing through my mouth for the first quarter.
And we only stayed for the first half.

The smell was probably worse since we were sitting right behind these stinky players.

It was fun though. And we got to see a fight.

In other news, I made crepes for the first time in my life, all by myself.
They were delicious and quite possibly my new favorite food.
And I bought the nutella just for the crepes. Mmmmmmm.

Goodnight!

Birthday!

Happy Birthday to Me!
"Welcome to the quarter of a century old club" says my cousin Ryan.
I'm ok with that, 25 is gonna be a great year.

Yesterday Andrew, Shiloh and kids came up to Logan to help us celebrate.
We went to the outside skating rink and had a blast!
Dallas was doing a pretty great job by himself, especially for his first time.

Travis opted out of skating and walked around with Walter. :)

Loved spending time with these people.

Notice my rad new socks above that Travis got me for my birthday.

Travis had to leave early this morning for a two week long business trip to Florida.
I didn't expect any surprises today since we'd celebrated yesterday. Oh, Travis
also took me to see Frozen finally.  I absolutely LOVED it.
Anyway, this morning when I came downstairs for breakfast Travis had left
this...

As well as a waffle and more batter in the fridge.
What a sweetheart.
I was totally surprised.
:)

I forgot to take a photo of my cake before we ate half of it.
So here's the last half.

So grateful for this awesome man in my life,
he makes everyday great.
And thanks to all my friends and family for the birthday wishes! It's been a fantastic one!

Baby

It's a BOY!!!

Nearly 20 weeks...

We had our ultrasound today (obviously) and we couldn't be happier!
To be completely honest, I had been hoping for a boy.
I would have been happy with a girl as well, but let's just say
I may have been convincing myself that it was a girl for the
past 2 weeks just so I could be sure there would
be no accidental signs of disappointment when we were told the gender.

Really we're just happy for a so far healthy being.

In other news, I found some older photos so I thought I'd throw them in here.

Had a mission reunion back in October. First one I'd been to, and
probably the last.  Loved seeing these two ladies though.

We went to Temple Square to see the lights in December.

Travis and I created another masterpiece to replace the one we made
the year previous that was hanging on our wall.
Because we've done it twice, it is now a tradition.

For those of you who are totally awesome, you'll know about the Doctor
Who 50th anniversary episode that took place.
Andrew and Shiloh came up with their kids and watched it with us.
They made this awesome cake.  And it was delicious.

That's enough random for now.
