27

I turned 27 yesterday. Travis stayed home a little longer in the morning to make me breakfast
and have me open some presents.

He got me loads of chocolate. He said this way we can decide which of these 3 brands is best.
No complaints here.

My awesome mom also drove up from Salt Lake just to take me out to lunch on my birthday. :)

Sam is going on 20 months now and sometimes I can't believe it.
He repeats just about everything we say and is obsessed with Travis' little quad copter.

Sam is also working on his selfie skills...

My personal favorite...

Sam has basically NEVER been a snuggly child, even as a baby, he always had his head
up so he could look around. And I appreciate the fact that he's a curious child and likes to learn
about what's going on around him. But at the same time, I often envied other moms when
I would see their children just sit with them for more than 12.5 seconds. Sam has suddenly become
much more of a cuddler and I am trying to enjoy every moment. :)

And apparently his baby brother makes the perfect pillow.
We're at 36 weeks today, less than a month to go before we get to meet baby #2!

Laundry is one of Sam's favorite things.
And cookies--or anything sugary. He is definitely my child.

3 years

I cannot believe this was 3 years ago.

It's incredible how much has happened in the past 3 years. I told Travis that
3 years ago I could not have imagined that today we'd have one and a half children.

Travis made sure we took our annual bench photo at Adam's park where he proposed.
(We decided we should've started taking it in October when he proposed rather than the end of
December when it's generally freezing cold. But oh well.)

To celebrate we went to Maddox where we had our wedding luncheon, and then drove down to
Ogden and painted some pottery at Color Me Mine. It was great fun.

I'm excited to see what they look like when they're all done.

I am so thankful for Travis and for our life together. It's been a great 3 years
and I'm excited for what the future has in store.
