Stradley Easter Party

Yesterday we went down to my parent's house for their Easter party. Originally we had planned on not going since it was pretty close to my due date and we didn't want to have a baby in Salt Lake. But we decided to risk it and everything worked out fine, and we're so glad it did. The boys had a blast and it was good to spend the day with family.
The Easter egg hunt was a hit, both boys found plenty of eggs and had so much fun doing so. They're really just the cutest.

Tyler was so sad when he was done coloring all of his eggs.

Mom had some fun activities planned for the kids, and even one for the adults...

Have you ever played the paper bag game? You get a large paper sack and you take turns trying to pick it up with your mouth without touching the ground with anything but your feet. Then you tear the piece off that you grabbed and it gets shorter and shorter. Turns out, Travis is pretty great at it. I made it pretty far considering I had a belly in my way and was 8 1/2 months pregnant. But my legs were so sore that night.

We finally got Tyler turned around in his carseat which is nice for all of us.

In other news...Sam still adores preschool and has been learning so much there. He finally got his work book where he can practice writing letters. He's not great at that, but he still loves using it.

This was about 37 weeks pregnant.

Even with all the snow that was outside we've tried to go play when it's warmer.

Travis made some shelves for baby girl's room.

We made a ton of strawberry jam. Thank goodness strawberries finally came on sale, because at this point we were on our last jar of jam.

There have been a lot of snuggles around here lately...

Travis came home early the other day and we decided to take the boys swimming.
Can't. Wait. For. Summer.

We were up on campus taking some headshot photos so of course I had to get some of my boys.

Hello March

So glad February is over, although the amount of snow and temperatures we've had lately are not convincing us that spring is close.
The boys are loving the cleaning toys that Tyler got for his birthday and it's convenient when Travis cleans because he no longer has to share his mop. :)

We've spent a little time at the mall where the boys play on the cars.

Sometimes the boys get to read in bed before they go to sleep, and Tyler is the cutest little guy in bed.

Since we've been cooped up, we made a deal with the boys--if they did a good job at cleaning up all their toys every night before bed, we'd go to the bounce and slide at the end of the week.
It was a nice break and they LOVED it. Although sending the 2 of them down at together might not have been the brightest idea.

Sam and I basically play this matching game every day during Tyler's nap.

And now we're just trying to wait patiently for the next month til baby girl joins the family and adds more chaos to our already chaotic lives. :) But these guys randomly have been treating their little bears like babies and it's adorable how sweet they are.
