October

It's fall and I'm quite excited about it. Especially since we get to dress Sam in a cute sweater.
We've already had fun playing in the leaves.
Also, Travis looks like he's throwing fire out of his hand. Yes, my husband is a super hero.

When did he grow up??

We went to the pumpkin walk. I don't know that Sam particularly enjoyed it since we kept him in the stroller for the most part. But he did enjoy running around after.

Here's our awesome selfie taking skills, with Sam looking like a chipmunk with a mouth full of crackers.

This was probably my favorite scene at the pumpkin walk.

Sam got to paint his pumpkin this year. He really enjoyed that,
and he did a great job at actually painting the pumpkin rather than
himself or anything else!

Here's mine and Travis' pumpkins.

This month we've also spent some time with home improvement. We moved the twin
bed into Sam's room so that there's not as many changes when the baby comes, and
painted his new dresser.

We also painted a wall in our bedroom and we don't know why we didn't decide
to do it earlier. I love accent walls.

Halloween was so much fun this year! I had slightly low expectations for how much
Sam would enjoy it/grasp the concept and if he would keep his costume on.
But once he realized that he got candy at every stop, he seemed to be all for it and
loved asking for candy. He wanted to carry his bucket everywhere, until it
got too heavy because of the amount of candy he'd acquired.

We dressed up as Red Riding Hood, the Woodsman and the Wolf. I think it turned out great.
