10 & Counting

My entire family was together this past weekend
for about a total of 4 1/2 minutes.
With 2 new grandkids added to the bunch in the past 6 months
my parents decided they wanted a quick photo before we left.

I love it!
Also, Travis decided that Sam looks like a Stradley when he's with the Stradleys,
and he looks like a Marble when he's with the Marbles.
Makes sense.

Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving. :)

Thankful

This is a post about gratitude.
There really is so much to be grateful for.

First of all I'm thankful for these two wonderful guys in my life.

I don't know what I would do without them.
They truly bring SO much joy into my life.

I'm thankful for Sam's smiles.
They never cease to brighten my day.

I'm so lucky to be able to stay home everyday with this man.

I'm thankful that Sam sleeps through the night.
We really lucked out with this baby.

Eternally thankful for Family.
Especially my family. They've helped me become the person I am today.
I'm thankful for all the fun times we've had together.
Also thankful for Travis' family. :)

Temples.
I got to go to the temple last night and it is always so peaceful.
So thankful for God in my life, for my Savior and all that they
do for me.  They are always there for me.

My growing photo business and a husband who supports me
in my efforts 110%.  I love photography and am so lucky that
I can do that while still being a stay at home mom.
There's so much more that I could say, but this post would go on forever. :)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Sam wishes he could eat all the delicious thanksgiving food.
He'll eat anything...

Aaaand, one more video because I love Studio C
and I love PB&J's. And I totally know people like this.
And it's just funny.

(Sidenote--Travis often calls Sam Samwise.)

Baby Trends

I feel like we haven't had a whole lot going on lately, yet we've managed
to stay busy. We had dinner with my family the other week and
Awilda and her husband and baby came over to visit.  I hadn't met
Aiden yet, but he is ADORABLE! These two had fun together. :)

We finally had a weekend with nothing planned so Travis
decided to put up our Christmas lights before it got too cold.

Sam is still an awesome eater. Except this day, he was super messy.
Still ate everything though.  He loves trying new things
and always wants to eat our food.

We put shoes on him for the first time--they are so cute.

 Travis loves reading to Sam.
And Sam usually really enjoys listening.
Lately though, he likes to eat paper so we have to
read to him from a distance.

Loving playing with his toys. :)

I'm pretty sure he just keeps getting cuter.
And he melts my heart every day.

It' s good thing Travis got those lights up, cause it got cold--fast!
We're learning to bundle Sam up nice and warm. :)

Watching the first snow...

Sam is 5 months old already!
I swear half the time I look at this kid he's either
like this....
...Or this...
This past weekend we went down to the Ogden temple for Travis' dad's sealing.
I hadn't been to a live sealing since Travis and I were sealed,
so that was nice to go. :)

Aaaand, we finally got a gate for the top of our stairs.
One step closer to being ready for our man to start crawling.

One more thing--Samuel is really loving games.  And I love to play
hide and seek with him...well, our own version.
He gets a real kick out of it.

This is Halloween, This is Halloween

I can't believe October has already come and gone!
It was a busy, fun month for us.

We had a halloween party with Travis' family and Lisa got us
all the supplies we needed to make these awesome crafts.

We took Sam to the pumpkin walk. He wasn't terribly interested.

But it was fun to see all the creative ways to use pumpkins
and other squash.
Here's a few of my favorite scenes from the night.

The Lego Movie

Dr. Who :)

Sam and I went on a long walk the other day and took this lovely
panoramic photo of the island here in Logan.
I love this place. I could live here my whole life.

This baby is cute.

He fell asleep like this the other day...

Ok, more about halloween. We finally carved pumpkins,
the night before halloween.  I carved Sam's little one and Travis carved
mine because he dropped his and it started rotting and leaking
nasty juices on our front sidewalk.

Travis was creative and made a little bat family.

Sam was not batman for halloween, but we tried this on him at my parent's house
when we were looking for costumes.

He was a monkey. And we were pirates.
And we ran this photo booth at the ward activity.

This is kinda random and I'm sure Ryan didn't think he'd be on my blog,
but I gave him a black eye last night.
For his costume of course.
It was way more fun than it probably should have been.

Also, Google had this cool thing where it would paint your face.
So I had some fun with that the other night.

Travis stuck Sam in this bowl....or did I do that?
I can't remember. Anyway, here's a baby in a bowl.

We also started putting this little man in 6 month clothes yesterday...
his 3 month outfits were getting just a bit tight. ;)

And he just keeps getting closer to crawling!
It's just so frustrating when you can't figure out
how to coordinate your arms and legs.
