4 months

4 months old. She's the sweetest. So content, finally starting to have some longer sleeps.
(Though not long enough at night yet...)
And while it takes more effort to get her to laugh, we cannot get enough of her smiles!
She was especially smiley this morning while I was taking photos. :)

We love how she smiles with her entire face.

Also a little obsessed with her hair.
Although, it seems to be doing the same thing that Sam's did, so we're
just enjoying it while it's here.

Just keeps getting cuter.

Haystacks

This week was a little more chill. Except it was 90+ degrees outside so it was harder to just chill.
We are still taking advantage of the river park.
Tyler didn't want to get in his swimming suit, so we had to strip him down before he got in the car.

We had some neighbor friends over for a water day at our house. It became
a water in the sandbox day.
It's good to know we could have 15 kids and we wouldn't need to build a bigger playground. ;)

We went to the parade with some friend on the 24th. The boys were SO excited, cheering for everyone. Sam was much more aggressive this year when it came to grabbing candy. We ended up with a pretty good haul. Then Sam got hit in the head by a piece of candy
the last 3 minutes of the parade.

Messy kids.

Just a morning at the farmer's market. Those donuts are delicious. Tyler adores the Turkey.

The boys randomly decided to feed their babies/animals...

There's a field behind our house that they harvest a few times each summer. Since it was an overcast morning we decided to get outside and watch it and practice the new bikes.
Then we snuck over and took some photos on some haystacks before they were taken away.
Because, why not?

 Baby slept through it all.

Summer fun

Merlin Olsen Park has been our sanctuary this last week. The boys don't love splash pads, but it's so hot outside lately that just heading to the park sounds awful. So we found the shallow river and the boys have loved it! I enjoy it as well because there's tons of shade and the cold water adds some coolness to the air.
Some friends of ours were there one day and let the boys borrow this cool floatie.

Tyler's favorite thing about the Farmer's Market is definitely the raspberries. He can basically eat a whole carton of them by himself.

These boys still adore their baby sister. :)

Summer wears us out.

Got to go celebrate these two amazing people! So good to see them, as well as some other college friends that I haven't seen in ages.

Sometimes we all end up laying in my bed in the morning. I don't love mornings.
Other times, Tyler sleeps in until 10:00. Just kidding, that only happened once.

We took the boys to see incredibles 2. They enjoyed it. Tyler wanted to go home after 30 minutes.
But we made it through. Sam did a great job. Now they always talk about Jack Jack
and run around trying to be as fast as Dash.
We also love the mall--it's a cool place to go in the afternoons to get out of the heat.

Sam had my phone for a bit. Here's my favorites. He also took some nice videos.
And this is how I learned he DID actually get the gene where he can roll his tongue.

Got to meet my brother's baby boy and take some photos. So crazy how fast they grow! Amelia was once that little even though it was less than 4 months ago, I can still hardly believe it.

And I really like how Tyler mimics the fire truck...
